    Hi,

I have a Quicktime movie that was created using IMovie on a Mac. It plays fine in Quicktime on a Mac but not on a PC. I have Quicktime Pro 7 on both Mac and PC. The .mov is DVCPro 50 NTSC with audio. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

  2. I believe the DVCPro 50 codec only comes with Final Cut. You may have to export out a straight DV file.

I just found out that no matter what compression codec you use, if your file is a .MOV then it will always use Quicktime's codecs. So my problem is that Quicktime on PC does not have a DVCPRO 50 codec. Even if I download all the DVCPRO 50 codecs for Windows XP, it is irrelevant because I am using a .MOV.
