    The application hanged...I have 5 mpeg files which I use to create DVD but it hanged while encoding...no error message. Just wondering if there is any work around. Thanks

    I had a similar problem with some DIVX files. They would play fine but hang during conversion. I downloaded DIVX repair and it fixed the bad frame issue.
    try converting to an avi and running DIVX repair.
