  1. Thanks to you guys I have learned how to paste subtitles in an .avi file, but not i have another problem, the pasted subtitles are too small, so i need to meke 'em bigger.

Does anyone know how to change size on an already created .srt file; I tried Titlelab but the result is unreadeable by VLC.

    Thanks in advance,

    M.

    Go here and get
    Subtitler 1.20.5 for Mac
follow the instructions, then resave the file
    in the .srt format.

  3. thanx man, you always have the answer.

But the link is broken or something, i tried getting it from version tracker but the link does not work, any idea where to find Subtitler 1.20.5.?

I even tried on bchris.dyndns.org the developers site, but it's not working.

    Cheers,

  6. My dear friends, there is something i am doing wrong or not doing at all.

I got Subtitler 1.20.5 and I can open my srt. files on it, and then save them as SubRip but I do not know how to make tham bigger, because when I try to embed the subtitles in D-Vision with an .avi file, they are too small.

I want them bigger so when i watch it on tv then look normal.

Any clues what am I missing?

    Cheers,

    Manolo,
    Subtitler Help File,
    under the Preferences Link,
shows CLEARLY how to set size and font Choice.

try that and let us know.

  8. Terryj,
I did what you told me, went to preferences on Subtitler, select a new font and a new size (bigger), than I saved as SubRip in all the 5 possibles encodings. (MicroDvd or DVD Studio pro makes .sub files)

Then open D-Vision to encode my avi. and embed the .srt file, but when I preview it the subtitles size and font are always the same (pretty small) no matter wich .srt file i use (ISO 8859-1 or 7; UTF 16 or 8 and MacRoman).

So, i am feeling lost here, thanks.
