  1. I did see the Sticky thread about how to convert anything to any format using Mplayer. I have a couple of RM audio file that I need to
    convert ----->MP3. Any recommendation of other software beside Mplayer??

    simplest method is to play them , and record to a tape deck using high quality tape , the record them back .

    This also helps keep the number of applications under control that are installed over time , making it easy to locate problems when things start playing up ...

    try also r7c, drag and drop the rm on the tool and convert to wav and then to mp3.

    Google for RA2WAV, that should do it. Then you just need to convert to mp3.

    With a name like Real7ime Converter though presumably it converts in realtime only. mplayer is much faster than realtime. Should also be possible to pipe from mplayer to lame.
