When I try to capture in virtualdub with x600, no frames captured....is this a driver problem?
or does this card simply not work with vdub?

Could be drivers.
Could be the version of VirtualDub.
Could be the codec you're trying to use.
Could be Macrovision or source related.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

what driver would you suggest
I am using latest version of virtualdub
picvideo mjpeg 3 codec
and a full frame hardware tbc + line tbc on output of vcr
