PowerDVD or WinDVD will let you view it

  3. When using PowerDVD be sure to select "Open DVD file on hard disk drive" and then browse to your VIDEO_TS folder. Do not select "Open media files".

I use V5 and you just have to point it at the video_TS folder. LS - yours must be quite an old version

The ones authoring DVDs with DVD Architect can easily preview the result with this very own application.

IFOEdit also has an inbuilt player that suits preview purposes.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Probably. I've had it forever. I think it came with my computer.
    Version 4, maybe?

WinDVD is the one where I just select a folder.

  11. MPC, using VMR 7/9 renderless output. Choose the VIDEO_TS.IFO. For subtitles, Navigate -> Subtitle Language. Enable the one you want.

TSUNAMI DVD Author Pro (the modernisation of TMPGEnc Author 1.6) also has a nice "simulation" facility, where you can test the result of your efforts.
