Hi,
I'm trying to look for a fairly inexpensive DVD recorder but am getting totally confused by the whole matter. The more I read the more confusing it becomes (do I need +RW or -RW or HD - the list goes on).
I have tried searching this site but often the machines returned don't appear to be available in the UK.
Can anyone recommend a non-high end machine (i.e. not too expensive) that can allow me to record from my video camera (which has DV out). It must also be able to fast forward through a DivX movie. It must also be able to make the most of my Dolby Digital TV (Toshiba). It doesn't have to have a HD but it would be nice (price dependent). It will mainly be used to record from the camera (with some editing), playback DVD's and DivX movies and do some recording from Terestrial and Sky (but not alot).
Models I have looked at are:
H&B DRX-430
H&B DRHD-120
Targa DR-5100x
Targa DRH-5000
Neither company I know much about.
Any suggestions and sorry if this is a rather vague question.
Thanks in Advance.
