    I would like to capture a still image from a video and make it a jpg that i have shot on a sony DVD203E DVD camcorder.

    Hi fubsy,

    Replay the video on your PC - I don't know if WinDVD or PowerDVD plays footage capture on a DVD cam, but they play the footage correctly (i.e. no interlace lines) on a PC monitor, and have the ability to capture a screen image and save to JPEG.
