  1. Okay, so I do have DVD Rebuilder and CCE SP 2.67, but I have never attempted to make backups of any TV shows that I own...

If I extract the contents of the DVD via DVD Decrypter, and then point the DVD Rebuilder with CCE to go the folder where everything was extracted, shoulda that be okay? Will it work?

Also, would anything have to be ripped from the DVD? Trailers, junk like that?

What's a good application for that?

I'll assume you haven't make backups of TV shows you don't own, either

Assuming everything has been installed correctly; yes, it should be that simple.

It depends how many episodes there are to a disk as to how you would want to modify it. 4 episodes might be too much, in which case you will have to split the disks. Do you want to keep main and chapter menus ?

If not, DVD Shrink in reauthor mode is a fast and easy way to break the disk in half, keeping just episodes. You may find that by doing this you don't have to reencode at all.

If you want to keep the menus then titleset blanker or vobblanker might be worth a look.

  4. Well I tried the Rebuilder/CCE method yesterday, and it worked, but beyond the first episode, the other 3 were very grainy...

I do have it at 50% for extras... does the program think that these other 3 things are DVD extras?

Thanx for any help you can offer...

    yay...

Yep. DVD Rebuilder takes the largest as the main, or the first if they are all the same size. You have just squeezed the crap out of them, hence quality change.
