    I have bought a dual core CPU and use a low end old Nvidia card, Geforce2MX...

    I wonder how the cheaper latest gen ATI cards perform, like the X1300?
    Maybe there are a sweet spot somewhere what to buy if and when this will be supported by "real" encoding software. I guess nVidia will release something similar if this becomes popular.

    Unless you are a developer, I see no reason to run out an buy this card for its video capabilities. It does show what will be in all next generation designs.
