    Thanks gjb, but you gave a bad link :P. If you meant those 4x TY "value disks" I decided to shy away from those just in case.

    Anyhow on my third burn on a random disk out of the spindle, it burnt perfectly, no read errors and I watched the disk and and it also gave me no problems on the earlier problematic DVD-Player. So far I'm 2-1, here's hoping I win more than I lose :P
