    How can I convert a .mp4 file with AVC HQ + 6 channel HE-AAC audio to DVD so I could play it on my DVDPlayer. Any tools for this purpose?

    Try thefilmmachine.
    Or try quicktime pro, export to avi and convert.

    the audio might cause problems....and the video...too "new" formats...

    Easiest would probably be DivXtoDVD. HQ AVC? Perhaps you mean HP (High Profile)?
