Help with EDIUS v3.5

Hi,

I have a problem with Edius v3.5 that is very frustrating. When I open Edius and begin editing, after about 10mins it just suddely closes and all i see is my desktop. No error messages or anything. Its very strange, I haven't come across this problem before. I hope Someone out there can help me.


My PC specs:

P4 3.2GHZ Prescott
P4P800 Deluxe MB
1GB RAM
2 Dedicated Hard drives for editing
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
Windows XP Pro SP2
EDIUS v3.5

This is a shot in the dark. Chage the compatabilty to win2000

Go to start / programs edius and right click the icon and choose properties. On the compatability tab click on the little box and choose win 2000

This has worked with a few stubborn programs and strange errors.

May or may not work.

Hi,

I tryed that and I still seem to get that problem. I found out that even if I open EDIUS and minimize it straight away, and not use it for bout 10mins, it also does the same thing. Closes without any error messages or anything.

Call Canopus tech support. They are usually pretty helpful.
