I did forum searches for "DVD Decrypter won't work" and "my discs skip" and "baaaaad media!" but I couldn't find any NOOB explosions ...

Regardless of what mod's or anyone else say's, Gurm was killer 8)
There have been numerous time's where i have had to restrain from being like him as i bet a few here have had the same problem :P

To correct some misconceptions:
1. Gurm has NOT been on this forum, either as Gurm or as anyone else, since his exile some months ago.
2. He has relayed no messages of any kind. While he wishes none of you any ill will, neither has he told anyone anywhere to say "hi" on his behalf.
3. If moderator 'offline' actually BELIEVES the version of the story he presented earlier in this thread... well, that's kind of sad. Goes to show what happens when moderators are allowed to remove/edit/delete users' posts in an unsupervised manner (no offense intended to 'offline', I'm sure he has never engaged in any such tactics).
And that's all I'll say on the matter, other than to note that a certain "cyber janitor" is no longer moderating here, which would probably provide Gurm with some small amount of personal satisfaction.

banning is not necessarily for ever, so any one 'in theory" can ask.
Some folks can't stay away, and although using a different proxy, these cases always reveal themselves. These are the types who overreact when they get a yellow card. How big a deal is a yellow card in the real world?
What is even sadder is their burning desire for attention and how quickly their fragile egos deflate when they are banned from using their nickname and coveted post count. Quite pathetic really. (no offense intended to 'Gurm', I'm sure he has never been such a repressed juvenile as described.
