From reading some of the posts on the forum, I've come to realize that the reason some of my homemade discs have breakup problems in one player yet play perfectly in another is due to some players not having Adaptive Error Correction. Is there a way to determine which players have it? I assume it's a property of the chipset, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a list of AEC chipsets. It's not something I've found on the spec sheet of any player, probably since most people wouldn't know what it is anyway. Thanks for any info.
