PL.HELP!! Which DVD player plays directly mini DVD-R/RW
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Hi Guys,
I want to buy a DVD player , I have sony DVD403 handycam. I use DVD R and DVD -RW mini DVDs for that. I want a DVD player which can play these small mini DVD disks directly after finalizing.( i.e. putting those disk in the DVD player directly. ) My budget for DVD player is around $60/70. One player I liked is "Philips DVP642" but I heard it doens not play mini DVD that too of -RW format. Please help.

I want to buy the DVD player in a week or two and it should run
mini DVDs -R/-RW. Also it should support DVD+R/RW , VCD, mp3, MPEG, CD-R/RW and should be region free...I am in USA but I should be able to play disks which I can get from oher contries like India.

I heard cyberhome is a good choice but I think its picture quality is not good. Budget upto $60/70 max ....
    Please help ! ! ! Waiting for your reply ! ! !
    ..... Thanks, Ava

Hi Guys, I went to philips website and saw in the user manual. there are not saying it will play DVD-RW disks. So I am little worried. Also I saw in one of the other forum of videohelp one person having issues running DVD-RW disks.

He says "This unit does not play DVD-R & DVD-RW disks.
Other posts here suggest that it supports these formats but it doesn't work when I try it. A DVD-R & DVD-RW disk will work for about a minute & then you get a scrambled picture. The Philips documentation claims the unit will only play the +R & +RW formats.

Below information I have copy pasted from user manual of this DVP642. they do not talk about DVD-R/-RW. I have got new sony DVD403 and lots of new blank DVD-R/-RW discs. So I want to buy the player which supports those formats.
PLEASE TELL ME GUYS WHERTHER SHOULD I BUY THIS OR NOT ...

    ● MP3: Maximum supported bitrate is
    320 kbps or 48 kHz.
    ● DivX 3.11, 4.x and 5.x comply with this
    standard, except GMC (Global Motion
    Compensation) and QP (Quarter Pixel)
    features.
    ● MPEG-4: All video codecs that comply
    with specifications of ISO-MPEG4.
    ● JPEG: For baseline JPEG, maximum

picture will be cropped). For progressive
    JPEG, maximum resolution is 2048 x 1536
(beyond this, picture will not be
    displayed).
    Region Codes
DVDs must be labeled for ALL regions or
Region 1 in order to play on this Player.
You cannot play Discs that are labeled for
