I have created several dvd's from mpegs, but when I play on most DVD players and my ps2 I get a crackly/jumpy audio. The video is fine but the audio sounds like it's playing on a bad vinyl album! Eventually the audio is out of sync by seconds.

However if I play them on the cheapest Pacific player that I have (bought for £40 from ASDA) they are perfect. I'm quite new to this whole DVD business and thought I was doing alright! I use TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 to author them and Mpeg Video wizard to join any clips. I had used ifoedit to author them but then read all of your forums saying not to use it and thought that would solve the problem.

I have trawled through hundreds of posts but can't seem to answer my question.
    Thanks in advance

I normally split the files into m2v and mpa. I only do this as it was the first way I did it and I've stuck to it!
