    Hi Major,

Ive been watching this forum not too long ago and have finally tried using ffmpegx 9t since i got my mac.

Ive been wanting to convert my avi files to vcd using ffmpeg but so far i haven't had much luck at all. Im very new to ffmpegx and i dont know much how to make use of the bitrate calculator. Alost always i just use the presets for vcd. Here's what im doing and what im getting. I hope you can help me out.

Thanks for the quick reply...however im still getting the same errors with the normalise audio off. Can you suggest another recourse.???

  4. Can you play your source file with Quicktime? If yes you may try to enable the option "Decode with Quicktime" in the Options tab.
