The following problem accurs when I use TMPGEng: I can't grab ANY of my movies. TMPGEng gives me this message: File D:\movies\rushhour2(DVD-RIP)cannot open, or unsupported.
I have already installed divX, so that can't be the problem.
The weird thing is, I had the same program installed about 6 months ago, and i worked perfect...
PLZ help :=)

The movies you are trying to GRAB, what format are they in? if they are ripped from DVD, they sould still be in VOB file format, you will need to frame-serve them first before TMPGENC can read them. Use DVD2AVI to frame-serve the ripped VOB files first, then TMPGENC will be able to read them.
If you found another way of doing this, I would like to know. -
probably has VBR audio, run the avi through VirtualDub with direct stream video copy and full audio processing mode to se a constant bit rate.
