When I rip the audio from an NTSC DVD and compare it to the same audio from a PAL DVD I find that the NTSC audio track is not only shorter than the PAL but also faster (higher-pitched).
Is there any way to correct this--to have both run at the same rate? Am I just flipping?
Thx.

That usually happens if the resulting .wav file is anything other than the standard 44100hz 16bit.

I am fairly certain you can convert the sample rate in Quicktime Pro WITHOUT changing the speed of the audio. I got into an argument with someone who told me that was not possible, but I have done it, so it is, lol.

I've even done it in the Windows Recorder....but usually I use CDWave.
