I have searched for several hours for a dvd recorder that plays Divx.
There are some but they just don't have the few basic features I need.
The one at Costco from liteon looked interesting but it doesn't even have s-video in.
I will be connecting from my sat receiver which has toslink audio and s-video outs, meaning I need a recorder with toslink in and s-video in. I got pretty excited when I saw the LG LRA-516 Recorder and then realized it only has composite audio in. What is the point anyway of this unit to have optical out and only composite in?
I have a nice Denon av receiver with all kinds of ports but I cant see where I can optimize any quality connections when all these recorders are lacking in ports. Composite audio is just not what I am after
Any suggestions for a recorder with toslink in and out and s-video in and out that plays divx?
