Flashed memorex 8412AJ and now it wont read any discs

I ordered some TY01 value discs and when I got them dvdidentifier shows them to be TY03. Nero will only burn them at 1X so I updated my firmware from HWS4 to HWS7 and now Nero wont read any dvds at all. Even DVDRW. I try to write and it says no disc. I can read the disc in Windows but not nero. Then I put the old HWS4 on it and I still have the same problem. Any ideas what I can try?

Dont WORRY? I cant burn any dvds now. I used Nero everyday before flashing the drive and now it wont work. I tried EasyDVD and same result. The burning progs wont see a disc in the drive. Im not WORRIED, but I would like to fix it if possible so its more than just a cd burner.

Tried any other DVD writing apps?
2 out of 2 aint that bad, but perhaps you should start worrying...
