I get Poor Quality VCD with standard DVDx

Dear all,

If I create a VCD with the DVDx 1.6 I get a very poor Quality Vcd. The screen is a little blurry and there is a kind of aura on the Subtitles.
Solutions?

soloutions is that you can use a plugin like CCE or LSX to improve your Mpeg 1 quality another soloution is to use FLask but you have to use plugins too the last soloution i can think of is to do the DVD2AVI-> TMPGEnc method which is about the best method if your just starting out
