Assuming that your no audio problem is just on your computer, I'll bet dollars to donuts your problem is not having an AC3 Codec on your computer. AC3Filter is a popular choice, or test playback using something like PowerDVD or WinDVD.
    If in doubt, Google it.

The original format is probably MP3, for which you have a codec. But with the limited info you've given so far, that's just pure speculation and guesswork on my part.

GSpot is your friend here for telling you what codec(s) you need to decode the source file(s) and also what type of audio your one-click-wonder software has encoded to.

Make sure you use the latest beta (2.52).
    If in doubt, Google it.

You are using all-in-one converters. I think this is wrong.
What Gspot says about your encoded files?

  7. ok then what should i be using, i got the audio problem fixed, the converter was putting it somewehres else and i found it and put it with the folder when i opened it with dvd shrink, but it came out really choppy, the audio i mean
i also have another problem, i got a coouple movies on my comp they play fine on here, but i put them on dvd (they are already in dvd format on the comp, just as if i copied them from the disc) the video is rolling.

  8. Now I don't know what you should be using. I can only say what I am using.
Usualy I am using VirtualDubMod to separate video and audio. At the end I have a video file (avi) without sound and audio file. If the original audio can be used for DVD creation I simply demultiplex it. If not, I decopress it to uncompressed wav file. All this is done by VirtualDubMod. Then I use AC3Machine with BeSweet to convert it to 2 channel ac3 file.
Now as audio is ready for DVD, I try to deal with video. Firstly I am using FitCD to look for the correct resizing value I need to apply for the DVD. Usually I am using 2 blocks overscan. Then I copy the avisynth script which FitCD creates for me and paste it in an avs file with Notepad. I add some filtering to help deblocking, deringing and compessability of the source if neccessary (to decide if it neccessary I open the script with VirtualDubMod activating or desactivating the filtering and looking at the video).
Then I am loading the video (or its duration) in a bitrate calculator to determine the average bitrate required in order to fill the DVD.
Now I am loading avs script in HC. I am setting the bitrate and everything other field I need and click start to encode the material to DVD compliant video.
When ready, I am authoring the video and audio to a DVD with Gui for DVDAuthor.
Finally I create an ISO disk image using ImgTool Classic and burn the ISO to disk with DVDDecrypter. Finita la comedia
