Simple question ... and I think I figured out the answer to this myself but I wanted to confirm it ...

The frame ruler at the bottom of virtual dub ... is the last number listed the total number of frames or the number of the last frame in the video segment?

For example, let's say that I have a video with 1000-frames. The first frame is number 0 so the last one should be 999. But VirtualDub shows a 1000 ... However, through trial and error the video when played stops at frame 999. So I just wanted to confirm that the last number is indeed the total number of frames which is 1 greater the number of than the last frame.

The last frame displayed is always blank. Frame 0 is counted in the 'File Information' but the last real frame would be one less than that because of starting at zero, if that makes any sense. Computers like to use zero as a real number instead of a placeholder like we do

Thanks ... yes it does ... it confirms what I thought I'd figured out ... The last number listed is the total number of frames and 1-less than the last frame number.
