Pacific 1002w

HI!
Can anyone help me?
I have a Pacific 1002w DVD player for which I need a manual.I have tried to find out who manufactures this player but could only find a company in hongkong who go by the name of Pacific. I have e-mailed them but they have said that this is not one of thier products.
Does anyone know who the manufacturers of the said player are and where they are based.
If all else failes I`d be very grateful if there is someone out there who has a spare manual or could perhaps send me a copy, of course at my expense.

I don't mean to sound rude but why do you need a manual for a 30 quid Asda cheapo? It's hardly festooned (great word) with features. I've got a similar model, ask away

Not at all rude.Glad your out there.
The player actually belongs to a very dear 76 year old friend who over the last few months has done an awfull lot for me. He asked me if I knew or could find out who made the Pacific 1002w because he has lost the manual. To pay him back for all he has done for me I thought that I would try and get him a manual. If you could help me do this I would be gratefull. Maybe, at least, you could point me in the right direction.
