    That's a puzzler...

    What CD burner are you using? Could be some driver issues there.

    I'll try to scrounge up some small, high quality VCD and SVCD ready-to-burn disc images to upload for you to test with in the next day or two.

    Its the cd burner in my laptop. still funny thing is - the laptop is a compaq but VCDeasy reads the name as as a Toshiba cd writer..!!!( an i have another laptop which is a toshiba make )
