  1. I am just about to burn my first DVD that i have authored in DVDlab Pro. I have a few rograms on my computer at the mo: CopytoDVD, Nero 6, DVD Dycrypter, DVDlab Pro 1.53.
I was wondering which you would say is the best. I was also wondering about burning it as a ISO this was from a previous question

Once it starts playing it is either in sync or it is not. You don't play video at one speed and audio at another. If you author a disk and it plays in sync on your hard drive, it will play in sync once burned, assuming the burning app does not screw with the structure. Another good reason to create an ISO and burn with DVD Decrypter/Imgburn.
Why is creating an ISO better and how do I create one?

Some burning apps (such as nero) tinker with the file structure you actually burn. This should make easier for you by automatically creating folders called VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS. In theory this shouldn't pose a problem, but from comments such as that you quoted thats not always the case. This doesn't happen when you create an ISO, you burn just what you want exactly how you want to.

You'll probably find the 99% of the time you don't have any problems but that 1% can really piss you off. And so many people routinely create and burn ISOs. I personally use them for the convenience of having a single file per DVD, and I prefer to burn with DVD Decrypter which as you said will only burn ISO.

So to answer your last question, how do you create them. You will probably find this is an output option (I'm not familiar with DVDlab) or you can create one using ImgTools Classic (make sure you use the free Classic version).
