  1. windows xp pro, teac cd-rw and a vcd disk.
when I insert the vcd disk, instead of playing
it automatically it opens my computer in the
cd rom drive and show me all the folders in it

I thought media player is suppose to play it.
I've tried to install power dvd version 4 and
it doesn't play it automatically but if I open
power dvd I can play the disk. but I want
    windows to do it automatically.

I have another idea, I'll try it tonight but I
appriciate any help you can give me

search time. don't mind the language just find more

Well I don't see it as an important issue but all you have to do is go into the MPEGAV folder and open the .DAT file with windows media player.
