This might do the job: MPEG Sequence Maker.

Valid GOP lenghts (max.) are 15 for PAL and 18 for NTSC.

I don't know - I've never used it. I was just going by it's description, and the fact that it's been recommended for similar requirements in the past.

Try it out... You might also try changing the "m2v" to "mpg".

  6. cant input m2v with MPEG Sequence Maker, and i want to retain the quality, have to have the m2v format as product so i can do some audio editing, thats y i don think mpeg-vcr would help either..and i tried mpeg-vcr and it ddint find any error..so im really want to fix it using restream cause it gives my wat i want..heres restream settings

Your M2V file is just video anyway, so I don't see how audio editing comes into it ???

You could always just remux the M2V and your audio to a MPEG file, run that through MPEG-VCR, then do your audio editing.
    If in doubt, Google it.

You can tell TDA to use the MPEG for video, and then a totally different audio file for audio

... or you could demux the MPEG after the GOP has been fixed to get your M2V back.
    If in doubt, Google it.

    That's BS !

You're not touching the quality at all - just joining and splitting streams.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Then yep, you didn't do it right.

The only time you change the quality is if you re-encode the video.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Are you using the exact same software for playback ?

And by "quality change" are you talking about a difference between your M2V file prior to muxing and the MPEG file after muxing ?

BTW, you could always author with IFOEdit - I don't believe it is so anal about DVD compliance, and it's not as if DVD compliance matters here, since you're just gonna convert to AVI anyway.
    If in doubt, Google it.
