  1. I have a couple of video files in bin/cue formats, but they are both almost 700 MB. The CD-RW are barely 650 MB, so they won't hold, and I don't want to waste CD-R for these. Is there a way for me to combine them onto a single DVD+RW that has plenty space for them?

first you need to extract the contents of the bin file. The cue file is merely a file that tells an app where to find the bin file etc. I use VCDGear but most ISO tools will extract. Once extracted (usually end up as an avi, mpeg file) you need to encode them to mpeg2 format. I suggest you do this to each one and do NOT join files yet, eg TMPGenc Plus. Once done you then need to author to dvd compliant spec-for this you need a decent authoring program, eg. TDA. Once opened up you can both files in and the app will merge them for you. When done just burn to dvd disc.

  4. Better yet, is there a way to shrink the bin/cue? There is a program called DVD2One that shrinks DVD down.

SVCD2DVD will do what you want to do. Well worth the small price.

At 15 cents a piece, hardly seems worth the effort to combine.

  7. If the files are CD images of VCD or SVCD then you can put 740 MB on 650 MB (74 min!) CD. So if your .bin files are almost 700 MB they should fit nicely
