Just installed new full version - Wont register!

I have uninstalled the old version.
Installed the new version.
Went through the process right up the the register box which appears with your name and registration data etc.
I click on register and the whole program just closes down.
When I try to open the program again, it does the exact same thing.
I tried uninstalling and installing again and still doesnt work.
Any ideas?

Hi Sorry to jump on this thread, but i am having the same issue, i have recently got my m8 to purchase SVCD2DVD, i have been guiding him through the install, and he was havingthe same issues, i decidded to un-install my current version to go along step by step, and i am also having the same problem, i keep getting unable to communicate with the registreation server, once i click on cancel, the registration box appears, i click on register but it disappears.

Any ideas as i am stumped

I suspect it is a firewall issue at your end as the server seems ok. Drop me an email & well do it manually.

I had the same problem when I tried to install my brand new V2 version but after reading a couple of posts on this forum tried installing 1.5 first and registering that and then installing v2 after registration was complete which worked. Maybe this will help?

well, ive just uninstalled v2.

I installed v1.5 again and it wont even let me reg. When I click on register, it just disappears and when you try opening the program again, it just keeps looping and goes no further. Anyone got a fix for this yet?

having a similar problem here.

im trying to install SVCD2DVD v2.1 (build: 2.1.0, date: 11/03/2006) and when it comes to the bit where it says "Please wait a few seconds whilst your machine license is generated..." nothing happens. ve never had any problems in the past with registering.

its not a firewall issue as i dont have one installed.
