internet keeps closing

hiya guys..don't know whats happening with my computer,a few times this week when i'm on the internet it just closes for no apparent reason.
my mouse pointer will do a lap of honour around the screen then a couple of windows will open...start menu and display properties.
i've done all the antispyware scans in safe mode and a couple of full virus scans but they don't find anything.
can anyone help coz this is doing my head in.

Internet closes?

You mean internet explorer or something else? Remember "the internet" is a virutal thing, it can't close.

That being said if this is a desktop computer I'd suggest replacing the mouse. Sounds like its gone erratic. I've replaced 100s at my tech job for that type of thing.

soory about that i did mean internet explorer.
i'll try a new mouse and see what happens over the next day or so.
