In WinDVD 7, playing a commercial DVD, there is no sound. (There is video)

When i play the disc in PowerDVD or WMP10, there is sound (and video)

When i drop the VOB from the DVD into graphEdit, there is sound, but garbled, using the intervideo audio decoder.

    Any suggestions? Thanks! - Jong

  2. Uninstall WinDVD 7 and then reinstall.Make sure that it is the default player for DVD and that the other programs installed are not configured to play DVD also. The programs could be conflicting with each other.

    Thanks, I did try uninstall/reinstall.

I can't uninstall WMP10, it's stuck there, MS made it a permanent upgrade, not uninstallable, so there will always be another program configured to play DVD's. Still no sound.
