    Here's a question for you all
    My brother and I have the same model dvd player - a Sony DVPNS305. His will happily play cd-r's with movies etc on - mine won't! Any ideas why?

    Are you using the same brand of blank discs? Perhaps your player will accept certain brands, but not others.
