  1. I keep trying to convert this file using TMPGEnc into SVCD.... and it keeps stopping at 32%, with this error message. What do I do?

DELETE. Sorry problems with my connection.

  5. I agree with redwudz,I have been googling for an answer and had to translate some German to English
It could be a problem with the AVI you are trying to encode.Maybe as a test try a different AVI and see if it happens again.

  6. I would but it takes so long for the TMPEG to encode these files (movies - 10+ hours). I just put it into G Spot now what do I do?

    This error:

Unless someone knows a specific answer, hard to tell. You might want to drop it into Gspot or AVIcodec and see what it says about it. I assume it's a problem with that particular file. Or less likely a memory or HD transfer problem.

EDIT: For posting images, check jimmalenko's excellent guide:

Sorry to post after myself, but you can use the guide I finally managed to link to on how to post a screen shot. My internet connection is messing up big time.

If you can post a screen shot from Gspot it would be helpful. Blank out any references to the name of the video, it's not needed.

  9. okay... lets try this...

    edit: hopefully itll work now

VBR audio if I read properly. Causes all kinds of problems. TMPGEnc chokes on it. Put your video into Virtualdub and save out the audio as a WAV. When you encode, select your original video, but select the WAV as audio input.

  11. im gonna try that right now
