i'm trying to add a little eye candy to my menu. instead of just havning the item selected highlight i wanna add like a finger pointing at it. am currently using dvdlab pro to author. thxs in advance

How diffiuclt this is depends on how you want it to look. If you want a photgraph of a finger to apper beside the choice, you need to use a switched menu. The is a good tutorial on switched menus at the mediachance web site.
If you are happy for the finger to be flat colour, like the highlight, all you need to find an appropriate wing ding font with fingers in it, and use one as part of menu button (just make it invisible for the normal state).Read my blog here.

thxs will mess wit make items invisable in normal state.haven't gotten that crazy yet. been making generic menus
