  1. I have some files that are using multiple audio tracks. Is there a way to create buttons for each audio track? So that it will start playing the "base" video with the different audio when you click the specific link?

    You can go a couple of ways with this. You can create buttons to set the audio track and subtitle track you want, then have a play button to play the movie using these choices, or you can create a button to select an audio track and play the movie with that audio track immediately. Anything more complex that is covered in the tutorial at mediachance.

    To create a simple select audio menu, create 2 menus

    Menu Main
    ---> Audio Menu (link to Audio)
    ---> Play Movie (Link to Movie:Chapter 1)

    Audio
    ---> Select Audio 1
    ---> Select Audio 2
    ---> Main (Link to Menu Main)

    On the two buttons on the Audio menu, right click a follow the menu through Link->Set Audio->Audio Stream 1 and Audio Stream 2 accordingly.

    The user will select the Audio menu, then choose an audio track. They will then return to the main menu with the Main button, and select the Play Movie button. You can also change the behaviour of the menu when the audio stream is selected. By default it is Restart Menu, but you can send it to the next or previous menu, or the first menu.

    If you use the Next Menu, you can create a simple blank menu with an invisible auto-action button to play the movie. That way, once an audio stream is selected, the movie begins playing immediately.

    Play around with some simple clips until you get the hang of it. Once you do, you will find it pretty easy.

  3. Hmm...here's the thing:

    Right now I'm doing a bunch of "extras" that have various audio options. It's not a full movie on a DVD. Basically I want to have the name of the extra and then an "on/off" option for the commentary. I would link the "on" to audio option 2 and "off" to audio option 1 and then have it play immediately once those are selected. Is that possible or no?

  4. Tried what you said above: creating another page where you make the audio options. I went back to the first page and it still plays back just the production audio and not the comentary even though it was linked to "audio track 2." I don't understand why this is so difficult. obviously I'm not understanding the inner workings of this whole thing.
