  1. I have nanoPEG Editor which came with my video card. I use it to cut video commercials from my mpeg2 files. Is there another program that can cut parts from a mpeg2 file leaving the rest intact?

VideoRedo and MPEG-VCR seem to be well-supported here.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Womble MPEG Video Wizard is a great tool if you want to do more than just cut out parts of video eg add transitions. No re-encoding just like VideoRedo so its very fast.
Thats if you can afford $120

You need to get your facts right! Videoredo does not re-encode and is every bit as fast as MPEG Video Wizard and it also does quite a bit more for less money!

  6. AVIdemux is a free tool for both linux and windows that can cut out commercials and copy the original mpeg encoding without reencoding. Nice interface. Does a good job of reencoding too, if you need to. Great filter tools as well. Take a look.

Maybe I should have put that MPEG Video Wizard doesn't re-encode just like VideoRedo,so its very fast.

I apologize if my post insulted you. Your first post regarding videoredo is confusing and I thought you were saying that MPEG Video Wizard was fast and did not re-encode and that videoredo does re-encode.
