Hi, Love the program been using it for almost 3 years now. Ok heres the problem, everytime I convert an vcd mpeg file with an 4:3 aspect ratio, whether it be ntsc or pal it always comes out to an aspect ratio of 16:9..all svcd conversions come out correct it is just the vcd's I am having the problem with. Have tried it both on ver. 1.51.2.0 and the newest ver. 2.0 . I use VDub-MPEG2 to check the file properties and it gives a dar of 16:9 and when I play the finished vobs in say nero showtime or PowerDvd it plays as a 16:9 squished and stretched. The log file just says aspect ratio locked. Any input would be welcome and also if you could recommend a mpeg or vob information tool (I use Mpeg details) but it doesn't have an aspect ratio feature that would be helpful also. Thanks great work on the program well worth the money.

ok. Can you email me a sample (use the makesample tool in the tools folder)? Can you try processing the sample (with both versions) to see if the same issue arises and then also include those logs in the email?

I will take a look at this for you.
