    I do my DVD Ripso n the other PC.
    WinXP Pro SP2.
    Using DVD Decrypter and AutoGK (To encode to XviD)

    I have noticed with a lot of my DVD rips (Especially American films but PAL) the quality comes out ok i suppose but the picture seems a bit reddy, misty and the colour seems to be a lot more so than if i were watchign it from the actual DVD.
    What do i need to change to adjust this?
    If you know what settings would i go to on Auto GK?

    It could be some installed video codec or filters that causing the problem so try first to play with videolan and see if it still looks red. Videolan comes with it owns codecs.

    yeah got that mate vlc yeah?
    Ill play about with the colours?
    If it was the codecs, does this mean it wld play the sameo n other machines or only on the m,achine i ripped it on?

    just tried it on this pc from cd and it really really is too colourful.
    on the dark bits of the movie i can hardly see anything.
    On the daylight bits its jusss way too colourful but no bright kinda darky but really colourful.

    What do i need to adjust or get?
