I hadn't noticed this issue till today. Apple wants people who are considering the new dual core G5 to know that they will also need to upgrade Final Cut Pro 4.5 to the latest version (5.x). Apprently the version many of us are still using can't be installed on either the new G5 of the new iMac G5s.

on a machine with either OSX Tiger or Quicktime 7.03.....
and people wonder why I DON'T upgrade.... -
