I'm trying to use FFmpegx to convert some DVD's to watch on my phone with smartmovie.

    According to this link:
    https://www.videohelp.com/forum/archive/t226610.html

thoughton posts that the settings should be:

PS Depending on your source movie's aspect ratio, you should choose the following sizes for your output movie (the phone's screen is 320x208):
    4:3 -- 272x208
    3:2 -- 320x208
    1.66:1 -- 320x192
    16:9 -- 320x176
    1.85:1 -- 320x176
    2.35:1 -- 320x128

A 21minute episode of the Simpsons with 80kbps 2-pass video, 12 fps, 272x208 and 32kbps audio, 16khz sample rate comes out to about 18MB and the quality is GREAT
I figured how to set everything but I can't figure out how to change the fps to 12. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance.

May be the best way is to ask the guy himself:

And please, let us know, it's interesting.

Even better yet, doing searches on this subject through google, I found his web site.

Actually those instructions are for version 0.9h written in 2004 while the most current version of FFMpegX is 0.9t. So that might have something to do with it. I'm trying one other avenue now but if it doesn't work, I will have to drop him a line (or Major).

I've made presets for 3 different aspect ratios and 3 different frame rates (12 fps, 12.5 fps and 15 fps - for use with movies in 24, 25 and 29.97/30 fps).

    download them here:
