I've been using S2D for awhile to process bin/que files into DVDs. Now I'd like to make DVDs from movies I had already burnt to CDs (usually 2 or 3 SVCD discs, but some are VCDs). What steps do I do to get the best quality? Was there any magic performed by S2D when it extracted the MPGs from the bin/que files? If so I could recreate bin/cue files from the CDs, but that seems excessive.

Use isobuster...

Thanks, CB. I just downloaded ISObuster and tried it a bit. I also tried recreating the bin/cue with CDRwin (which I had used to burn it originally) and it doesn't take any longer than the ISObuster extraction. I feel more comfortable with then feeding the recreated bin files to S2D and letting VCDgear extract the MPGs. They are always a little smaller than the MPG on the CD so I guess it is 'massaging' them a little. I'm going to go that way for now unless something screws up.
