    Hello.

I downloaded a video off of a tech site and I noticed that the Audio is not in sync with the video by like 3-8 secs. Is there an editing program that I can use that will preview the output of sorts instead of me guessing and encoding with TMPGENC?

If you're wondering, its a MPEG2 (at DVD Specification) Video File.

    thanks!

Hypercube Time Stretcher? I have never used it, though.

Hypercube Time Stretcher doesn't work very well. Seems to make it worse than it was in the 1st place.

    Anymore ideas?

Use VirtualDubMpeg2 and check the File Information. It will report the Audio Skew in +/- mili-seconds.

Enter that number in Audio/Interleaving/Audio Skew Correction. Then frame serve to TMPGEnc or save as an AVI.

    Hope this helps,

    Chas
