    I am using DVDlab1.5XX

I have put together some trailers(6 total) that are 4:3 ratio and two that are 16:9 into two separate movies....ie VTS 1 and VTS 2. These two movies have chapters indicating the beginning of each trailer.

I want to have a play all button that will play the first 3 chapters of movie 1 (VTS1) then two chapters of Movie 2 (VTS 2)....then back to play remaining
    chapters from movie 1(VTS1).

Is there a way of doing this using branching objects..or something similar.
I am trying some more complicated DVD menu for first time.

Remember that movie one(6 chapters or trailers) is 4:3 and movie two is 16:9 (two chapters or trailers)

    TIA

you could setup Chapter Playlists, and link them with together in a master playlist...

Create a branch for each chapter in it's respective VTS. One chapter per branch.
Create a regular playlist by selecting connection tab> add> playlist.
Open playlist and play branches in any order you like. (Draw connections from each branch back to the playlist just to be on the safe side.)

I am trying to do something similar, but without menus. I have a 4:3 clip that I want to mix with 16:9s and TMP is giving me a problem. I tried using DVDPatcher, but no use. Any other hints? I didn't understand the VTS branching stuff up above...

That's because we're talking about Dvdlab, not TMP (TDA?). I'm not familiar with TDA (dvdlab was my first authoring app) so I can't really help you much there.

Ahh...may bad! I was looking for highlighted blue text for tools, but I didn't see any. Sorry! I am using TMPEngc DVD Author and have tried Nero Express and DVDPatcher to trick it, byt it didn't work.

Lockheede, I suggest you start a new thread to get the attention of the TDA users.

  10. I want to do playall in DvdLab Pro. However, I don't know how to do new VTS:es. As of this moment, I've got 43 "movies" in VTS1 >_>'

EDIT: Found it. What's the diff between a VTS and a VMG menu?

  13. I only did one playlist.

    Connections -> Add -> Playlist

And then I added the 4 movies that were to play. Is this correct? Will they play in the order I specified? How do I set which menu the playlist will return to or will it return to the menu that the last clip specifies?
