Does final cut express cpautre 4 channel audio as i have to a use radio mic and the onboard mic, how does it appear on the timline .

I've not heard of a method for capturing audio from TWO ports (into one program) simultaneously on the Mac. It certainly would be possible to send the audio through a four-channel external box and then into the digital audio port (assuming your Mac is a G5) (or USB or FireWire, depending on the interface on the external box).
It also might be possible to set up two separate audio capture apps and configure each to look at a different port. Assuming this can be done, FCE could then import the two separate stereo streams. You'd then align them on two separate stereo tracks. -
