  1. Hi

I have just installed XP on a new hard drive and when trying to install SVCD2DVD get the following message:

"The advertised aplication will not be installed because it might be unsafe. Contact your administrator to change the installation user interface option of the package to basic"

    Anyone help?

    Cheers

Make sure you have the latest build. Save the .msi file to the root of your system drive (i.e c:\ for example)and attempt to reinstall.

    Tried it but no luck.

It worked fine before I reinstalled XP.

    Any more ideas?

  7. OK managed to get it installed by using command prompt and typing svcd2dvdsetup.msi /qb

    BUT, now getting message:

Please wait a few seconds whilst your machine license is generated...

Unable to connect to the Registration server.

Please click the 'Back' button followed by the 'Next' button to try again.

    Help!

Good news on the install. Reg Server is back up so you should be ok now.

  9. More probs.

Uninstalled it and clened the registry of all SVCD2DVD and BadgerIt entries.

Re-installed and when I try to run it I get "preparing to install" then "Fatal error during installation"
