  1. Everytime I use TMPGEnc for Encoding an avi(divx) file,is there an error message:
    Illegal floating decimal point calculation order.

  2. open the avi in vitualdub hit the scan forwar button at the bottom. keep hitting it at the same tim watch the bottom of the window when you see a frame error showup step back 1 frame and put a selection starting point hit the alt key this will get rid of the error at the bottom hit the scan forward button and the alt key till the error doesn't show up any more move forward 1 frame and put a selection ending point and delete the bad frames make sure that it is set for direct stream copy and save the avi. you may want to scan it again if ok you will also want to re rip the wav if you are doing that aswell.

    note: if tmpgenc locks up again look at the time it died that will give you a starting point for virtualdub also if you have to delete too many frame you may want to rethink useing the avi

  3. When I use Virtual dub i get this warning message:
    Warning:Virtual dub has reconstructed the index of this file,but you have not specified rekeying in the extended open options dialog.Seeking in this file ´may be very slow

  4. Thats a new one on me, usually the avi just opens with no errors poping up
