  1. I have an avi file which seems to have two people talking at the same time saying the same things except in a different voice. I wanted to know if I could edit the audio so I can take out one of the voices.

Is the audio in stereo and is one voice on the left and the other on the right? Adjust the L-R balance to check.

If the answer is yes to the above then it can be fixed and I can give you more info pending your reply.

Other possibilities are that it has two audio streams and your player doesn't properly handle multiple streams, so just plays both or that it is one stream with both languages over both channels in which case there isn't much you can do.

Perhaps an AVI you have contains two audio streams. You need just remultiplex your file and leave only one audio.
